Fasting reduces chemotherapy toxicity, enhances immunogenic tumor cell death and increases CD8+ T cell infiltration in tumors, particularly when combined with chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Moreover, fasting exhibits a sexual dimorphism in the immune system .

The aim of our study was to elucidate the role of sex in the beneficial anti‐tumoral effects of combining fasting and chemotherapy.
