Ana María Cuervo Delivers 2025 Jiménez Díaz Commemorative Lecture


Professor Ana María Cuervo delivered the LVI Jiménez Díaz Commemorative Lecture at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz. Her lecture, titled “Selective Autophagy in the Fight Against Aging and Age-Related Diseases,” explored the therapeutic potential of targeting selective autophagy to combat aging and associated disorders such as neurodegeneration and metabolic diseases.

The event, organized by the Fundación Conchita Rábago de Jiménez Díaz, also featured a symposium on therapeutic targets in aging, with contributions from leading scientists including María del Carmen Collado Amores, María Mittelbrunn and Juan Carlos Izpisua.
