Our PhD student Pablo Ramírez-Ruiz de Erenchun participated in the Nit de la Recerca at CosmoCaixa in Barcelona, as part of a session dedicated to immunology.
The event provided an opportunity to bring immunology closer to the public and highlight how advances in our understanding of the immune system have contributed to transforming medicine. During the session, Pablo gave a TED-style talk exploring how immunology has revolutionised medicine and its impact on different areas of health and disease.
Pablo also had the opportunity to present the research directions that the Mittelbrunn Lab will pursue as part of the CaixaResearch Institute, where the lab will join the institute in the coming months.
The event brought together researchers working in different areas of immunology and provided a space to discuss current research with the public.
